Kintamani and Mount Batur

Located in the elevated highlands of Bangli regency, Kintamani is a village that provides spectacular views of Mount Batur and the volcanic lake that rests at its feet. On a clear day, you will be able to enjoy the unforgettable sight of Mount Batur and breathe in crisp mountain air. For the adventurous types, you are able to climb the mountain with access available from the township of Toya Bungkah This is an active volcano so you may be able to find evidence of current activity in the form of smoke or lava flow. Those brave and fit enough will be rewarded with panoramic views of the lake below as well as the rest of Bali so don’t forget your camera. Beware of the weather conditions before climbing .Our wet season lasting from December to February could dampen your attempts to climb.
